Rules of Conduct - General

1. Any commercial activity on Airport lands (including any activity related to car rental, ride hail, ride share or courtesy shuttle operations) requires prior written approval from the Vancouver Airport Authority, which may be in the form of a written licence agreement, permit or other agreement, in the Vancouver Airport Authority’s sole discretion.
2. All operators are required to comply with all applicable laws, the terms of their respective approval from the Vancouver Airport Authority and all Vancouver Airport Authority rules, regulations, directives and procedures (including those regarding designated pick-up and drop-off areas).
3. Except as expressly permitted under the terms of a written approval from Vancouver Airport Authority, soliciting on YVR Airport lands is not permitted. For clarity, soliciting includes any activity undertaken for the purpose of attracting customers or promoting services, such as:
• engaging in conversation for the purpose of making or causing a passenger to be made aware of services offered;
• arranging transportation or causing transportation to be arranged for a passenger; and
• distributing, placing or displaying or causing to be distributed, placed or displayed promotional materials on Airport lands.
4. No person may display any Vancouver Airport Authority or Vancouver International Airport trademark (including any logo) or represent themselves to be working with or at Vancouver International Airport without the prior written permission from Vancouver Airport Authority.
