Leadership and Governance

In 1992, Vancouver Airport Authority / L'Administration de l’aéroport de Vancouver took over the management of YVR from Transport Canada. As a not-for-profit organization, we are governed by a community-based Board of Directors.

Our Executive Team oversees the daily operations of YVR and a team of over 1,000 employees who ensure the airport runs efficiently. This includes areas such as customer care, maintenance, airport operations and information technology.
