Annual Noise Reports

The Airport Authority publishes an annual noise management report. This report outlines what initiatives we’re leading to help minimize noise impacts and provides information on noise monitoring data, operational statistics and noise concern summaries.

2025 Annual Noise Report

Aircraft movements and passenger traffic continued to grow in 2025, each experiencing a 3% increase compared to 2024. In particular, the number of passengers reached a new record of 26.9 million. Cargo shipments also reached the highest volume ever. While the passenger numbers reached a new peak, surpassing the previous record in 2019, aircraft movement remained below pre-pandemic levels, indicating aircraft are carrying more passengers and cargo per flight.

In 2025, a total of 1,423 concerns were registered by 175 individuals. This is an increase in the number of concerns but a decrease in the number of individuals compared to 2024.
