Vancouver Skycap Ltd.

• Vancouver Skycap Ltd. is an independent and licensed porter service company independent of the Vancouver International Airport (YVR).
• Porters are available on all Arrivals and Departures areas of the Vancouver International Airport (YVR).
• Available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
• Movement of Luggage: Porter service involves the movement of luggage within areas of the airport, including from luggage carousels (where all passengers must come to pick-up their luggage after their flight has arrived in Vancouver, Canada) to vehicle curbside loading area AND/OR from the curbside to the Airline’s Check-in Counter. This includes movement of luggage to and from International Departures/Arrivals, Domestic Departures/Arrivals, US Departures/Arrivals, Parkade, Passenger PickUp/Drop-Off Zones, Rental Car Pick-Up, Fairmont Vancouver Airport Hotel, Taxi Loading Area, Shuttle Bus and Ride Share.
• Porter service rates are posted on the porter carts and available from the porter. Gratuity is optional.

Porter Service Rates:

• $25.00 flat fee for up to three (3) luggage items
• $3.00 for each additional luggage item
• All prices are in Canadian dollars (US Dollars also accepted)
• Credit Card and Cash options available for payment

• There will be an extra $25.00 per each pet crate

Reservations

Porters are available upon a first-come, first-serve basis at the porter service rates described above. However, if you would like to make a reservation to confirm that a porter will be waiting for you or your family, please follow the steps below which require a minimum of 24-hour notice. Please Note:

There is a cost due to the porter waiting for the passenger to arrive and to stay with the passenger during the entire transaction.

• A flat fee of $60.00 will be charged to hold name signage for an individual passenger or one family based on a pre-arranged reservation request. The cost includes porter service as described above for luggage belonging to the individual passenger or one family. A porter can be reserved for those arriving to Vancouver International Airport or for those departing from Vancouver International Airport. Please Note: The flat fee of $60.00 includes the movement of up to 8 pieces of luggage; please indicate if the reservation includes more than 8 pieces of luggage in your email as there may be an additional cost for the reservation
• Arrival: Holding the name signage, the reserved porter will wait for the passenger at Arrivals luggage carousels for the airlines specific to the passenger’s flight. After greeting the passenger, the porter will pick-up the luggage and bring the luggage to the curbside or the locations described above under Movement of Luggage.
  Cost: $60.00 flat fee (Gratuity is optional)
• Departure: Holding the name signage, the reserved porter will wait for the passenger at Domestic/International/USA Departures curbside in the section for the airlines specific to the passenger’s flight. After greeting the passenger, the porter will pick-up the luggage and bring it to the Airline’s Check-In line-up and wait with the passenger until the luggage has been dropped-off on the luggage belt for the airlines. Cost: $60.00 flat fee (Gratuity is optional).

3. Time of Arrival / Departure
4. Flight Number
5. Contact Information: Email and Phone Number that can also receive text messages.
• Confirmation of Reservation Services Procedure: A confirmation email will be sent as a reply to your request to confirm that the information has been received and to share any additional information, including where the porter will be waiting for the passenger with name signage.
• Payment should be made after the completion of the service. Credit Card and Cash options available for payment.
