YVR is proud to celebrate 15 years of partnership with Quest Outreach Society, an organization dedicated to improving food security for families across Metro Vancouver
What began as a food drive in 2011 grew into our annual Holiday Hamper Drive, delivering over 11,600 hampers and supporting more than 100,000 British Columbians. Last year alone, employees contributed 1,656 hampers, helping over 10,000 people. Building on this legacy, Quest is now moving from pre-packed hampers to a new model.

- Seasonal refreshments, treats, festive music and activities
- Opportunities to learn about Quest's impact within our community
- A greeting card station where attendees can write messages of support for gift card recipients
- An invitation to donate toward Quest's Holiday Gift Card Program
This is a free, drop-in event open to travellers, community members, Sea Island employees, and visitors.
About the Holiday Gift Card Program
Instead of pre-packed hampers, Quest’s new approach provides families with gift cards that allow them to choose the groceries that best reflect their household needs, cultural traditions, and holiday celebrations.

- Access to Holiday Market Days in December
- Flexibility — cards never expire
- Support for culturally aligned and high-demand foods
This model ensures every dollar donated directly supports families facing food insecurity.
How Your Donation Makes a Difference
Your contribution helps fund gift cards and stock Quest’s non-profit markets with essential groceries, including fresh produce, proteins, halal options, and traditional holiday ingredients.
Impact of Your Gift:- $25 provides a weekly grocery shop
- $50 supports two grocery visits for a family
- $100 provides a month of weekly visits for one household
Every donation - big or small - helps families enjoy a holiday season filled with nourishment, dignity, and choice. YVR will be matching all eligible monetary donations.
